The "Bill" of Fare at Miller’s Ale House, Commack
If you’re heading to Miller’s Ale House in Commack, do yourself a favor: skip the hostess’s first available seating and wait for Bill. Seriously. In a world of "fine" service, Bill is the Gold Standard.

Here is why you need to request him:

He Really Fits the Bill: From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat. He doesn’t just take orders; he orchestrates a dining experience. If there were an Olympic sport for precision beverage refills, Bill would have the gold.

A "Mill-ion" Dollar Smile: His attitude is infectious. Even when the restaurant is packed, he navigates the floor with the grace of a gazelle and the efficiency of a high-speed processor.

Total "Ale-ment" Cure: Whatever mood you walk in with, Bill cures it. He’s got the wit to keep you laughing and the professional chops to ensure your Zingers arrive exactly when you need them most.

The Highest Degree of Service: We aren't just talking about "service with a smile." We’re talking about a server who anticipates your needs before you even know you have them. Empty glass? Replaced. Extra napkins? Already there.

The Verdict

Don’t settle for a "regular" night out. If you want to be served to the highest degree, you have to seek out the man, the myth, the legend. The "Bill" of Fare at Miller’s Ale House, Commack

We had a great dining experience at Miller’s in Commack, thanks to our server James. He was attentive, friendly, and very professional throughout our visit. James made sure our orders were accurate, checked in on us at just the right times, and kept everything running smoothly without being intrusive. His positive attitude and genuine care for good service truly stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable. Excellent service all around — James is definitely an asset to the team.

I had dinner with a good friend of mine I used to work with. We were seated rather quickly for a Friday night. Our server was very nice and pleasant to speak with, and was attentive.

Our food arrived pretty fast and was hot and quite delicious. I had their classic cheese burger, which included the usual lettuce and tomato (which was also very fresh-nothing was wilted or gross looking) and a side of fries. I've become quite picky about French fries, and these were really good.

In spite of the current state of our economy, the food was reasonably priced. The value for the money was good. The atmosphere was also nice and the men's room was clean.

I would definitely come back here with friends and family. Thank you, Miller's Ale House, for a good evening out with my friend.

Thanks so much to the owner for replying to my review. Being in retail myself, I or my employer try to reply to all reviews as much as possible. Your response was very much appreciated.

I travel for a living and when I receive great service I'm committed. I come to Millers in Commack and when I see Amanda behind the bar I know it's going to be a good environment. Amanda is friendly, kind, engaged and is always moving. Amanda is like the energizer bunny. Amanda is a model associate and she is why i keep returning when im in town. When she is here the entire experience is elevated. I sure hope the management team understands what a great associate they have working for them. Unfortunately, when Amanda is not on duty the service calapses. Thank you Amanda for making all my visits great. You are simply the BEST there is. Stay humble and continue to be a rock star.
