I went with some friends here for a late lunch. This was the first time any of us had been here.
To start with the place is big, so lots of seating, either booth, table or bar.
Our waitress was amazing, and came back often to check on us.
The food was good, but I think it kind of depends on what you order and how your taste buds run... 😆
I ordered the Mimi's Fiesta Bowl with chicken and shrimp, and I'll say it was probably one of the best things I've eaten in a long time, even my friends took a bite and said that's what they should have ordered.
One friend ordered the fish and chips, her review was the batter on the fish was divine, but there was way more batter then fish. She didn't like the coleslaw, it is creamy but had no zing like coleslaw is supposed to have, but the fries were fine.
The burger cut in half in the rich spicy sauce, I was told that it was good, especially the sauce on the plate, but the burger was still a little pink in the middle and my friend doesn't like the pink, he like it well done. He loved the fries!
With the price of going out anymore, I'm really picky about my reviews on food. If I'd just been reviewing my Fiesta Bowl I would have definitely giving 5 stars. But I also listened to what my friends said, so I dropped it by one star.
It's definitely a place you should check out and I know I'll be back again.

After a 10 hour travel day, my mother and I stopped at Miller's Ale house on the suggestion of a local for dinner and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the drink options were vast and yummy and the service was top notch. I just moved to the area and will be back!

This spot has become one of my consistent comfort places in Apopka.

It sits on a location with a bit of a history. A few restaurants have come and gone there over the years, and for whatever reason they did not last. Because of that, I made a personal choice to support this place and show up for its success. Over time, that intention turned into something real for me.

Now it is more than just a restaurant. I go there with family, friends, and sometimes just on my own. I can walk in for wing night, steak specials, or honestly any night I just want good food and a familiar environment. When I am by myself, I will sit at the bar with a lemon drop, unwind, gather my thoughts, or just process whatever the day brought me.

Some visits are quiet and grounding. Other times I end up in conversation and leave having met new people. Either way, it always gives me what I need in that moment.

I have noticed staff come and go over time, and some of my favorites are no longer there, but there is still a core group that remains steady. The newer team members also seem to settle in well and keep the atmosphere welcoming.

Overall, it has become one of those places I return to not just for food, but for familiarity, reset, and a sense of ease.

I love this place!! The service is always top notch, and the food is amazing! The Cobb salad and burgers are out of this world!! And the atmosphere at the bar is so inviting!! I highly recommend!!!

Had some friends come into town and wanted a quick easy dinner to let them unwind from the trip. Our server, Miranda, was a doll. So full of personality which complimented all four of our meals and cocktails. We are regulars but our friends were very impressed. Thank you.

I LOVE THE ALE HOUSE!!! Simple as that.. The food is great, the vibes are good and the drinks are always perfect! After 20+ years going to the Ale House, Ive never had an "unpleasant surprise" ... 10 out of 10 every time!! Zinger Mountain - thank me later!!

Tosha was our excellent server. She came to the table with a smile and greeting, and then treated us like her guests. The food was also excellent. Previous to that the host and two hostesses never greeted us and barely spoke to us when we entered. He told one of the ladies which table to take us to. He seemed less than pleased when we requested a booth. The restaurant was not very busy.... lots of empty tables and booths. On the way out, the same three were at the host station and not one of them spoke or even looked at us as we left. Your host/hostess staff need training in customer service. Just being friendly goes a long way. "Hello," "goodbye" and "thank you" ought to given to all patrons.
