I’m generally not the biggest fan of corporate joints but this place is always a solid go to. Been going to Ale House since 2004. They are keeping prices as reasonable as possible for this day and age which is appreciated. Food is great (they cook a steak better than Texas Roadhouse) and the service is even better. Everyone seems like they genuinely care and management is always engaged. And that’s consistent. I haven’t been a customer for over 20 years for nothing.

We are over on holiday from Scotland. Jay, our server was attentive and friendly. The food was incredible! We had a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed their meal. I hope we come back before we go home 💙

Thaw food was delicious. I had the pork, my wife had the salmon. My pork was cooked to perfection and had a delicious glaze that forms on the skin as it cooked. This added a nice crunch just before the tender pork. Our server, Charlie even brought out a bowl of water for my service dog, Kefa. (Other places in chiefland won't even allow service dogs). We spent a good 2 hours just talking. (After 33 years that's rare). But that's how comfortable we felt. We'll definitely be back. This is our new favorite in Gainesville.

Issue with the food was corrected quickly, food and service was awesome. I got the brunch burger and was glad I did! We were a group of four and our service was great for such a busy night. We'll be back! Thank you Kim! AND CHASE. WHO ALWAYS REMEMBERS MY ORDERS. This is a hardworking crew. I love this place

Hubby and I have been twice for date night. The food was good both times. Good sized portions. Lots of variety. We lucked into the same server each time, but she was fantastic. My glass never got empty. She asked us how we were do the exact right amount of times (not ignoring and not overly checking). I would definitely recommend and hubs and I will definitely drive the hour to go back
