My wife and I recently visited Miller's Ale House in Sharpsburg, GA, and I wanted to recognize the exceptional service we received from Jayla.
This was our very first visit to any Miller's Ale House. It also happened to be our anniversary and Father's Day weekend. We didn't mention either occasion because we weren't looking for special treatment, free desserts, or extra attention. We simply wanted to enjoy some good food together.
Man, did you guys nail it.
From the moment she greeted us, Jayla was polite, professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Her attention to detail was outstanding. She took our order accurately, made sure every item arrived exactly as requested, and checked on us regularly without ever being intrusive.
We ordered the spinach dip with nacho chips, loaded fries, onion rings, a Prime Rib French Dip, a Prime Burger, an Arnold Palmer, and a Coca-Cola. Everything arrived correctly, and Jayla stayed ahead of our needs the entire visit. She proactively brought extra condiments, kept our drinks refreshed, and made sure we had everything we needed before we ever had to ask.
What really stood out was her awareness of the customer experience. She wasn't simply taking orders—she was actively creating a great dining experience through communication, anticipation of customer needs, and professional service. She also demonstrated excellent sales skills while never making us feel pressured.
As a retired manager in the supply chain industry, I spent many years identifying, developing, and promoting talent. I recognize potential when I see it. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that management consider Jayla for your management development program. She demonstrates the customer service skills, initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and leadership qualities that organizations should be looking to develop and promote.
