Great steak, blackeded shrimp, and great service. Been here multiple times. There is one seating hostess, however (who last worked on August 3rd, 2026 at 12:30 pm) that always seems angry and unwelcoming towards guests. I wish she would smile--or at least be polite towards us. Other than her, great dining experience at this location.

We were invited to lunch/dinner after church, and really love their new location. last time we ate there was at their old location. We were sat down right away and ordered some appetizers (we were so hungry forgot photos..lol) and drinks and ordered our meals . Meals came out hot and were pretty tasty and filling. Server took good care of us and the atmosphere in there was nice.TV's all around showing all kinds of sporting events, and shows. For a nice family , church, or other dinner is a nice place to go and they have indoor and outdoor seating.

I had a nice time. Sat in the bar, watched the O's game. Madi was very nice.
Unplanned visit due to other sports bars not playing the game we wanted to watch. The staff at Miller's went above and beyond to make sure we had the game we wanted to watch and on the closest TV to us! Very impressed especially considering other places wouldn't put it on at all. We had Wyatt as our server and he was AMAZING! Honestly the best server I have had in my life. It was like dining with a show, he always had a joke or skill to show. My daughter especially loved his juggling! Also, nothing was too much; we had a lot of questions and requests and nothing was ever too much hassle. We WILL be back soon! Please let him have his Halloween party! Please post some photos of it aswell because I'll be all the way back home in England when it happens!

A few of us met here for dinner, and there was something on the menu for everyone. I went with the zinger mountain melt, which was filling without being too heavy, and we shared a plate of loaded fries while watching part of the game. The atmosphere was lively, the service kept up with the dinner crowd, and it was an easy place to spend a couple of hours.

I've eaten at Miller's Ale House twice, about six months apart, and both visits were consistently excellent. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that delivers the same quality food and friendly hospitality every time. On my first visit, I ordered the Slow Roasted Prime Rib French Dip, and it's still one of the best French dip sandwiches I've had. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and piled generously onto the roll, while the au jus was rich without being overly salty. If you've never been here before, I highly recommend starting with this sandwich. Pair it with the loaded fries—they're worth it. When I returned several months later, I decided to try something different and ordered a steak, while my son chose one of their burgers. Once again, everything was cooked exactly as ordered, served fresh, and tasted fantastic. It's always a good sign when a restaurant can deliver consistently across different menu items instead of relying on just one signature dish. Another thing that stood out was the hospitality. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout both visits. As someone who travels with a service dog, I also appreciated how accommodating and respectful everyone was, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're stopping in to watch a game, grab dinner with family, or simply looking for a dependable place with a large menu and generous portions, Miller's Ale House in Wilkes-Barre is an easy recommendation. Great food, friendly service, and consistent quality have earned them a repeat customer. They are easily located right off I-81at exit 168, certainly a great stop if hungry and traveling. There is also a grocery store and several gas stations in the area.
