Great steak, blackened shrimp, and great service. Been here multiple times. There is one seating hostess, however (who last worked on August 3rd, 2026 at 12:30 pm) that always seems angry and unwelcoming towards guests. I wish she would smile--or at least be polite towards us. Other than her, great dining experience at this location.

Excellent food with Excellent service! Rayna, our server, was friendly and prompt but didn't hover. Her personality is amazing! Our steak and shrimp dinners were delicious. The mac & cheese is top notch! Best I've had in a long time. We will definitely go back again soon and possibly call ahead to ask if Rayna is working. A++

It was my first time at Miller's. I wasn't sure what to expect. We had an outstanding server, our Philly cheese steak was good and served pretty quick. Over all it was a really good experience.

Ordered from here 6 times. All the food ive tried is great ! Steaks, Mash, Veggies, salads, shrimp, Fish, its all tasty, at a decent price with generous portions! Danjel in the takeout was awesome. One time, i had a problem where i had an ordering charge error. He was able to resolve the problem immediately and see to it my food was prepared with great quality before I left (but I dont even need to check quality at this point - its ALWAYS on point!!!) Great staff, great environmental awareness when guests need something, great customer service and the cooking staff is busting their butts like some work horses, serving up the best food. They deserve many compliments but diligently provide quality without the need for praise or gratitude! Its a 360⁰ restaurant that serves great food, in a great environment with a phenomenal staff! -Jonathan

Came for prime rib night. The steak was very juicy. Service was great.

How about a restaurant tucked away in the gateway Mall, it has the best hamburgers, salads, and steaks. My favorite is a beer and a fiesta bowl with blackened shrimp and chicken. Melts my heart every time.

I've eaten at Miller's Ale House twice, about six months apart, and both visits were consistently excellent. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that delivers the same quality food and friendly hospitality every time. On my first visit, I ordered the Slow Roasted Prime Rib French Dip, and it's still one of the best French dip sandwiches I've had. The prime rib was tender, flavorful, and piled generously onto the roll, while the au jus was rich without being overly salty. If you've never been here before, I highly recommend starting with this sandwich. Pair it with the loaded fries—they're worth it. When I returned several months later, I decided to try something different and ordered a steak, while my son chose one of their burgers. Once again, everything was cooked exactly as ordered, served fresh, and tasted fantastic. It's always a good sign when a restaurant can deliver consistently across different menu items instead of relying on just one signature dish. Another thing that stood out was the hospitality. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout both visits. As someone who travels with a service dog, I also appreciated how accommodating and respectful everyone was, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're stopping in to watch a game, grab dinner with family, or simply looking for a dependable place with a large menu and generous portions, Miller's Ale House in Wilkes-Barre is an easy recommendation. Great food, friendly service, and consistent quality have earned them a repeat customer. They are easily located right off I-81at exit 168, certainly a great stop if hungry and traveling. There is also a grocery store and several gas stations in the area.
