We stopped here for a casual dinner on our way to the USF football game. Everyone in our party enjoyed the sports theme with various games televised on the screens through the restaurant. A large bar occupies the center of the dining area with tables all around. This Ale House is large and roomy. We were seated at a table in the corner. Our service was very good, but the place was not busy on this visit. I've been here before when all the tables are being used. We tried the Philly Cheesesteak, a Mountain Melt, an order of Zingers, and a couple of kids meals. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and service was good. The dining area was clean, for the most part. We did notice that the Mountain Melts have been downsized and that is my only negative comment. As soon as the food arrived at the table, we noticed that the Mountain Melt is no longer a Mountain. It was more like a Flatland Melt. Also, the touchscreen at the table for paying the bill has one glaring omission.....there is no button to print the receipt.
